Using The Timetable Management Module
The Timetable Module gives you the opportunity to enter in your timetable for your school, so that attendance and calendar information can be populated. Before getting started with your timetable set up, ensure your term dates, and subject management module have been set up. Please note: This module is not a timetabling package that works out an appropriate timetable for your school.
The Timetable Module can manage several timetables – so a new timetable should be created for each new structure of timetable. For example, if you have a Primary school that has a one-week rotation and a senior school that has a two-week rotation, you would create two separate timetables (one for each section).
The timetable can be viewed using various search parameters. For example, year group, location, staff member, subject etc. The classes will be sourced from the Subject Management Module along with the default teacher, then you can change the teacher if required at the timetable level. This is particularly useful if you have a teacher that just covers one lesson a week for a given subject.
